It was a great day out at the Maytime Fair on Saturday 5 May, with thousands turning out to support Jesuit Mission’s works around the world.
Every year, 100 per cent of the proceeds raised at Jesuit Mission’s major Melbourne fundraiser are donated to support the agency’s work with people living in the margins in more than ten countries including Cambodia, Timor-Leste, India and Myanmar.
Contributions to the event came from right across the Jesuit community in Melbourne, including schools, parishes and other ministries. Jesuit Mission is grateful in particular to Xavier College staff, parents and students for being such generous hosts.

The Maytime Fair could not be the success that it is without its many amazing volunteers.

Xavier College students lend their support.

Jesuit Mission Rector Fr Trung Nguyen SJ and Director Helen Forde enjoy the fair.

A food stall is hosted by St Ignatius’ Church in Richmond.

A fun day for the whole family!
