 SHOWING THE WAY TO GOD

By Janark Gray, Communications Officer, Society of Jesus in Australia

A short video series, Voices of Vocation, focusing on the vocation of many Australian Jesuits, was launched in the middle of 2024 for Jesuit Vocations Australia’s social media channels. These short video clips, recorded in a conversational style, showcase the personal narratives and spiritual journeys of many of these Jesuits who are based across the country and around the world.

The series to date, features the following Australian Jesuits:

  • Fr Frank Brennan SJ
  • Joshua Choong SJ
  • Isaac Demase SJ
  • Fr David Holdcroft SJ
  • Fr Gregory Jacobs SJ
  • Fr Philip Moller SJ
  • Fr Brett O’Neill SJ
  • Matthew Pinson SJ

The series asks questions such as: ‘Why did you want to be a Jesuit?’ and ‘If you could meet Jesus now face to face, what would you ask him?’

By amplifying the voices of Australian Jesuits, this series aims to inspire a new generation to explore the Jesuit way of life while deepening the connection between the Jesuit community and its followers.

The series will be featuring more Australian Jesuits this year.

What would you ask Jesus?
