 WALKING WITH THE EXCLUDED

On Sunday 7 May the Manresa Circle of Friends based in Norwood parish held a concert at Saint Ignatius’ College Chapel, Athelstone, to raise funds to support an African refugee family. Fr Chris Horvat SJ opened and closed proceedings by playing four compositions on the piano accordion, three of them his own, including the public premiere of his Athelstone Fantasy. A Hot Gospel Choir and guitarist/vocalist Quentin Ayres filled up the rest of the program. Fr Stan Lim SJ was the master of ceremonies and Fr Peter Hosking SJ helped out with the raffle as prizes were handed out in the interval.
