From May 2021 to July 2022, the Society of Jesus will celebrate an Ignatian Year.

The 20th of May 2021 marks the 500th anniversary of the start of St Ignatius’ conversion — that fateful day when Ignatius the soldier, struck by a cannonball, began his transformation into Ignatius the pilgrim.

At the centre of the year is the 400th anniversary of the canonization of St Ignatius, on 12th March 2022.

Focus: Ignatius as patient, ascetic and pilgrim

Throughout the Ignatian Year, resources, event notices and more will be shared here.
