Role: Project Officer – Bookends – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Project Officer
Location: Melbourne, Sydney
11-month Contract, Part-time

The Role

The project officer will need to support/collaborate with the Delegate, Social Ministries (DSM) in implementing the 5-Year Bookends Strategy and Annual Bookends Action Plan across the Australian Province of the Society of Jesus.

Role: Project Officer – Reconciliation with Creation
Location: Melbourne, Sydney
11-month Contract, Part-time

The Role

The project officer will need to support the Delegate, Social Ministries (DSM) in implementing the 5-Year RWC Strategy and Annual RWC Action Plan across the Australian Province of the Society of Jesus. In addition, you will need to support Jesuit ministries (including schools, parishes, social services, spirituality, communications and administration) as they develop, implement and report on their RWC action plans.

Role: Co-ordinator – Mission Formation
Location: Peter Canisius Conference Centre, Pymble, NSW
Fixed Term Contract, Full-time

The primary responsibility of the Co-ordinator – Mission Formation is to provide effective leadership and co-ordination of Mission Formation across the Province. 

In consultation with the Delegate/CEO and Board of JISA:

  • Encourage partnership across the mission of the Province
  • Deepen Ignatian formation for all in Province ministries
  • Provide a vision and open new opportunities for mission formation

Role: National Finance Officer
Location: Peter Canisius Conference Centre, Pymble, NSW
Permanent Full-time

The primary responsibility of the National Finance Officer – JISA is to support the Manager – Finance and Administration and to manage the daily financial and accounting requirements of the JISA.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation of the JISA budget
  • Managing records and receipts and keep accurate records for all daily transactions
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, credit cards, invoicing and other finance-related transactional function
  • Reconcile bank statements and GL on a monthly basis
  • Preparing balance sheets
  • Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
